I use a regular blog – post 6 times a week to drive traffic to my site and also to rank high on google.

I actually use free ad sites and have managed to do fairly well in attracting targeted traffic. I can change the ad, check performance, re-run them as long as I choose. Article marketing is next on my list of things to do.
When I first started out I mainly focused on search engine optimization. This was a very frustrating process, but it was free and could take anything from 6 to 12 months to get good quality traffic.
These are the traffic methods that I currently use to drive traffic to my sites
1) Article marketing
2) Blogging
3) Traffic swarm
4) Co-registration
5) Search engine optimization
I will be experimenting with ppc and ezine advertising very soon.
